About Us
A Church for the Aura Community
Aura Church launched in June 2019 with a heart to serve our growing community. Since then, God has blessed us richly as we've grown into a good-sized family of different ages, backgrounds, and nationalities, all united in our love for Jesus and our desire to make Him known.
We are a diverse family united by our love for Jesus, committed to teaching the Bible faithfully, and passionate about making Him known in the Aura community.

What We Believe

We believe that God, who created and cares for our world, has given us the Bible to teach us about Himself, about ourselves, and about the meaning of life.
Since it is God's word, the Bible is completely accurate and must be trusted and obeyed. Here's what the Bible teaches:

At Aura Church we have many ways to connect with others. We have programs and gatherings for all ages and stages of life. Whether you're new to faith or have been following Jesus for years, there's a place for you here.

Sunday Church Service
Our Sunday gatherings are our main event each week. Everyone is welcome, especially those who are new to church. You don't need to get dressed up, just come as you are!

From finding a park to sharing morning tea, here's what your visit will look like.
Before the service
Getting here
Parking
To find the carpark, simply drive down the access road between the Baringa Community Centre and the Baringa Skate Plaza. This will take you behind the school and into the car park. If it's full, there's plenty of parking at the Baringa IGA car park.
Arrival
When you arrive, you'll see friendly wayfinding signs pointing you towards the front gate. Come on through the gate and into the hall — we'll be ready to welcome you!

A warm welcome
Welcome desk
You'll find two Welcome Tables as you arrive. Our friendly welcome team will be there to say hello, help you find your way around the hall and give you a welcome pack.
Welcome pack
Our welcome packs are a little way for us to say, "We're glad you're here!" They include a letter from our Minister with more information about our church, a contact card if you'd like to keep in touch, a copy of the Gospel of Luke, and a business card with our Minister's contact details. Please feel free to take one!

Seating
There's no allocated seating, so make yourself comfortable and sit wherever you'd like!
Church service
Our church service includes prayer, singing, Bible reading, a sermon and announcements about upcoming events. On the first Sunday of each month, we also celebrate the Lord's Supper together by sharing communion.
After the service
Stay and connect
Connect Table
After the service, we'd love for you to stop by our Connect Table. You'll find more information about our church and the different ways you can get connected. One of our friendly welcome team members will be there to chat and answer any questions you might have.
Morning Tea
Please stay and join us for free morning tea after the service! We'll have a variety of hot and cold drinks along with some morning tea treats. Gluten-free options are also available. We'd love to spend some time getting to know you!
Aura Youth
A fun, safe place for High School kids (years 7-12) to unwind, build friendships, enjoy great games, and dig into the Bible.
Kid's Church
Especially designed for primary aged children with Bible stories, activities and craft. Starts halfway through the service.
Crèche
Our friendly crèche volunteers are ready to mind your pre-primary kids so you can get the most out of the church service.
Growth Groups
We gather weekly during school terms to enjoy one another's company and encourage one another from the Bible. Contact us to find a group!

Our team serves the church with dedication and love. The Committee of Management focuses on practical needs while our Elders focus on spiritual leadership.
